The FDP in free fall: After the million donation from the hotel sector ( "Movenpick" affair) is the "Liberal Party lobby" in the Forsa survey crashed to nine percent.
Since the general election four months ago, the FDP has lost to five percentage points. The black-yellow coalition government is now three percent behind red-red-green.
Experts suspect that the debate could be about the venality of Berlin's policy is one of the causes. The FDP has received, according to "mirror" not only from the hotel, but also from the solar industry massive donations.
Frank Asbeck, chief of the SolarWorld Group is said to have raised in September 2009 at a barbecue a "record amount" for the FDP. Later, the deletions have been defused in the promotion of photovoltaic systems.

Because of the controversial donations the Greens call for an annual limit on donations of € 100,000.
